Our Dogs Gone but not forgotten Puppies
Over the past 23 years - we have shared our lives with five dogs - two German Shepherd Dogs and three Leonbergers. Sadly, three are no longer with us....but we think of them every day....and probably always will. Their stories and pictures are here also - as they will always be a big part of our lives.
Our dogs are most definitely "part of the family" !
We have shown our Leo's in the past....and achieved some success. After a successful period in the show-ring - we decided to retire our current Leo (Axel) during 2003 - due to family commitments....and the fact that he didn't enjoy the show ring "experience" ! .
Regretfully - Axel has recently been diagnosed with Laryngeal Paralysis (2007) - We remain optimistic that with continued love and care he will continue to live a happy and fulfilling life for some time to come......We are constantly thankful to the Leo community who support us and provide guidance as to how we can best deal with this debilitating condition.
